This is a replay of the session that took place on the Frontier Stage during the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland from 8 to 11 July, 2025. In this keynote, Cornel Amariei presents his groundbreaking vision: reimagining self-driving technology not for cars, but for people. With over 338 million visually impaired individuals worldwide and only 28,000 guide dogs available, mobility remains one of the most underserved challenges in accessibility. Cornel introduces the first wearable device to replicate the guidance of a trained guide dog through patented haptic feedback and real-time spatial AI. The talk combines storytelling, technical insight, and a powerful live demonstration of the glasses in action, showcasing how Pedestrian Autonomous Driving can restore independence for those who cannot see.
