This 45-minute session offers a hands-on introduction to the E3bot, an educational robot developed for the CogLabs program by Google and UNESCO to make STEM and AI learning accessible and engaging. Participants will work in teams to assemble the E3bot using 3D-printed parts and basic electronics, then program it using Scratch through the CogLabs app on smartphones. They will learn to connect their robots via Bluetooth and run simple programs. The session also introduces machine learning using Teachable Machine, where teams will train image recognition models and enable their E3bots to respond to recognized objects. The workshop concludes with a recap and Q&A, reinforcing key concepts in robotics, coding, and AI.
