In this workshop, students are invited to explore the basic principles of AI and its use in a very concrete example: autonomous vehicles. How does a smart car detect and analyze its environment? How does it learn to identify traffic signs, other vehicles, and pedestrians to navigate safely? Throughout the session, participants discover through hands-on experience the basics of computer vision and machine learning.

This event is part of the EPFL workshop designed specifically for school classes 7H & 8H, catering to children aged 10 to 12 years. The workshop is offered 3 times per day on both days, totaling 6 sessions. Each workshop lasts for one hour with the following available timings: 9:00-10:00, 10:15 to 11:15, and 14:00 to 15:00. Reserve your place here and be part of shaping a better tomorrow.
