Emovo Clinic

This CE-marked medical device (EU MDR) is a commercially available one-hand exoskeleton designed to support functional grasp in everyday activities. It enables active opening and closing of the hand and is suitable for people with hand motor impairments following neurological accidents, including users with mildly spastic hands. The device is easy to control via integrated soft push-buttons and requires no complex interfaces. Its adaptable design allows adjustment to different hand morphologies and use on both left and right hands. A modular architecture enables combination with off-the-shelf splints, supporting use across different scenarios and levels of residual capability.

Built with patented soft-robotics technology, the exoskeleton ensures safe interaction even in the presence of spasticity, contractures, or clonus, while remaining robust for daily use. It is easy to wear thanks to a glove-less design with snap-button attachment, and washable and spill-resistant for shared and real-world environments. Movement parameters such as force and speed can be personalized via a simple app, allowing tailored support without the need for a smartphone during operation.
