CERNBot

These modular robotic mobile bases can be equipped with one or two arms to perform inspection, maintenance and repair tasks. Different cameras can be used; visual cameras, cameras with point cloud feedback and thermal cameras. The robots can also host radiation, temperature, oxygen and other environmental cameras. CERNbot robots are controlled remotely by an operator at CERN, so that they can be safely situation on the surface while the robot works underground.
