  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) combined with genomics, amongst its many capabilities, can predict the evolution of pathogens, the spread of diseases, and the rise of antimicrobial resistance. In an ideal world with equitable access to healthcare, predicting and preventing the next pandemic would be as easy as a nose swab predicting Covid-19 (slightly unpleasant but possible nevertheless). But we do not live in an ideal world and healthcare access is not equitable. We will talk about how AI and genomics together, can be moulded to take such parameters into account while helping predict and perhaps prevent the next Covid-19.

This live event includes a 30-minute networking event hosted on the AI for Good Neural Network. This is your opportunity to ask questions, interact with the panelists and participants and build connections with the AI for Good community.
