    In order to pool global wisdom and explore technological development and international cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), China Branch of BRICS Institute of Future Networks (BIFNC) will hold the Seminar on “Converging Global Intellects for Co-shaping a Shared Future: Innovative Practices and Win-Win Cooperation Driven by AI for Sustainable Development” at 14:15-17:15 on July 9, 2025 on the sidelines of the AI for Good Global Summit. The seminar will invite representatives of regulators, government agencies, research institutes, universities, and enterprises in the global AI sector. The seminar aims to fully showcase the booming AI sector in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) under the guidelines of upholding a people-centered approach and developing for good, and from technological breakthroughs to practical applications, how the GBA has extensively used AI technologies to improve people’s livelihood and promote industrial upgrading.

    It will focus on the various modes of international cooperation in the field of AI, such as joint research, resource sharing and complementary cooperation, and the launch of international talent exchange programs.

    Promoting standard setting and technological application in the AI sector will also be an important mission of the Seminar. We expect that through in-depth exchanges among all parties, we will formulate industry standards that are scientific, reasonable, and in line with global interests, so as to accelerate the application of AI in various fields, and create greater value for human society. In addition, the seminar will also focus on innovation in the field of AI, encouraging clashes between new ideas or methods to unleash even greater vitality for innovation.
