Priscilla Obeng Oforiwaa

Priscilla Obeng Oforiwaa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Ghana. She earned her master’s degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering Management from Tsinghua University’s Department of Engineering Physics in 2019 focusing on Nuclear Safety and Security. She completed her Doctoral studies in Nuclear Science and Technology with a focus on Safety and Emergency Response at Tsinghua University in August 2023. Following her doctoral studies, she transitioned into the role of Postdoctoral Researcher in Nuclear Energy Safety and technological approaches for Emergency Planning.

Currently, she works with the IAEA as an intern in the Division of Physical and Chemical Sciences, Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications. Her work involves implementing activities under the sub-Programme, Nuclear Fusion Science and Plasma Physics.
