Massimo Zanetti

Massimo Zanetti

Massimo Zanetti received the MS’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Ferrara, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Ferrara, Italy, and the PhD in Communication and Information Technologies from the University of Trento, Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, Trento, Italy, in 2013 and 2017, respectively.

He is a researcher in the Remote Sensing for Digital Earth (RSDE) unit, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), Trento, Italy. His research interests are mainly focused on mathematical models for remote sensing image analysis, with specific application to multispectral/hyperspectral change detection, time series analysis, variational methods for segmentation and numerical optimization methods for image processing problems. His main contributions are related to theoretical properties of tiling schemes applied to variational methods for large size images segmentation, and, statistical approaches to image modelling and related inference in the framework of change detection.
