Alex Roy is a rally driver, media figure and entrepreneur obsessed with tackling seemingly insoluble challenges. Roy was Director of Special Operations at Argo AI for four years, is now a consultant for Cityfi and advisor to startup TurnSignl, a lawyer-on-demand app that helps protect drivers’ rights and safety.
Roy is founder of the Autonocast, Geotegic, The Drive & the Human Driving Association, and Chairman Emeritus of The Moth storytelling series.
Roy has set numerous Cannonball Run driving records in the ICE, EV and Autopilot classes. He is author of The Driver, producer of APEX: The Secret Race Across America, and is often cited as the godfather of Universal Basic Mobility.
