TwynSyght is a smart, domain expert built machine learning assistant that uses natural language processing to extract complex mental health information from narrative text. It is aimed at all levels in a learning mental health system from frontline clinicians to service managers, regulators and investigators.

14:53 – 15:00 – Global AI – AI-Driven Global SDG Platform

GLobalAi has developed an AI-driven SDG Platform which uses Big Data, Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning to enable the quantification and integration of SDG factors into Government Policy, Corporate Strategy and Investment decision-making.

15:00 – 15:09 – MachineGenes: Machine-intelligent artificial pancreas software suitable for the people who need it most. (Evolutionary ML; Organ-Scale Personalized Medicine; Adversarial Explainable AI)

Using new forms of evolutionary machine learning and adversarial explainable AI, explicit organ-scale personalized computational models are data-mined from short segments of medical history of a human volunteer with ‘brittle’ type-1 diabetes. Given ambiguities in the insulin sensitivity equation, the algorithms suggest two different interpretations from the data, in an interactive, explainable way, enabling the clinician or user with diabetes to choose the appropriate interpretation. This enables earlier pioneering work on adversarial explainable (non-neural network) AI to be implemented in a clinical setting (to be done in 2019).

15:11 – 15:18 – Iris.ai – AI researcher

Iris.ai is an AI based research assistant, already helping academics by semi-automating their literature mapping process, reducing time by 78% and increasing interdisciplinarity. She will grow up to be the world’s first AI researcher, helping us humans to validate and connect the dots of the vast corpus of scientific knowledge we have produced which massively exceeds what we manage to digest on our own.
